With four years of experience as entrepreneur within the import & export industry and over six as a pharmaceutical representative, working for such reputable companies as Boehringer Ingelheim, Novartis Pharma and Bayer, I have strengthened my work background concluding successfully the International Business Management program at Mohawk College
As entrepreneur, I successfully developed heavy equipment rental business, located in Nicaragua and managed from Canada. Travelling 3 times per year down there, I made long-term contracts with local contractors. Identifying a business opportunity in the market, I successfully offered parts and service on site to the local rental competitors, making more profitable my investment overseas.
Thanks for my strong knowledge in marketing and distribution channels got from my last company; I incorporated an import and export sales agency, matching international producer and Canadian buyers. I created an international interdisciplinary networking and partnerships in Mexico, Venezuela, Miami, Spain and Brazil traders, obtaining important and lucrative deals.
As a medical representative, thanks to my in-depth knowledge of key competitors, diseases, and the latest therapeutic trends, contributed to my strong sales record of accomplishment. Specifically, Boehringer Ingelheim recognized me on three occasions as the top representative of the year for outstanding sales performance. At Novartis Pharma, I exceeded sales targets for two key gastrointestinal drugs by 20% and 30% respectively. Most recently, at Bayer I ranked number one in national sales for Vardenafil, and exceeded the sales target by 15%.
